Ornithomancy Divination

Ornithomancy is a form of divination that observes the presence of birds within the surrounding environment, in order to predict both personal and collective omens.  

The etymology of the word is from the Greek ornithos (bird) and mantis (seer).

It includes the study of birds(the species), the habitat they are present in and their behaviour (call, flight pattern, displaying behaviours etc.).

Join Sarah for an Ornithomancy Divination Session out on the land. This is 2 hour session in person, where you will be guided through a variety of habitats to observe bird species for the purpose of personal divination. 

It is through on-going practice and application that the skill of augury is developed, identification of birds is fine-tuned and intuitive understanding of their behaviors is embodied. 

Please consult the calendar before booking, ornithomancy bookings are weather dependent, and so 24hour notice is not required for change or cancellation. These sessions are fully transferable for weather related reasons.
