Honoring Thresholds

Tending the Continuum of Life and Death

Sarah is a Mystic, Writer, Ceremonialist, Herbalist & Keener. She grew up on a farm by the lake shore in Éire and spent her formative years immersed in nature, playing in the Lough, the fields and the hedgerows. At the heart of her being is a deep love for the land and it's creatures; the grasslands, moorlands, woodlands and wetlands, the lakes, the rivers, and the humble hedgerows.

She completed her academic studies with an MSc in Ecological Management and Conservation Biology followed by a lengthy career as a Conservationist, with primary interests in botany and ornithology, At this time she was also heavily invested in agricultural business in particular the rearing of grass-fed livestock and nature friendly farming.

A crumbling of old identities brought a shift in her orientation and she began working in the Feminine Healing Arts in 2022, she is trained in a number of modalities including; colour healing, womb healing, keening, ogham essences and vitalist herbalism. The cornerstone of Sarah's work is a devotional love for the land. This love of the wild is deeply mirrored in her healing practice, through the use of native plants, essences and primal embodiment practices. She blends her previous work with the returning Feminine wisdom traditions through relationship with nature, the land and the cosmos.

Her primary service is in devotion to the flourishing of this emergent feminine consciousness and she supports this through a combination of transmission, womb healing, energy work, breathwork, vitalist herbal preparations, lunar ogham essences and keening.

She has a love for learning and has studied many theological doctrines, scriptures and written materials drawing from a multitude of faiths, What is central to her inner-standing is that God/Goddess/Creator is not bound by spiritual text or scripture. That scripture is a tool but language can never encompass the complexity of the creative force. That being said, she has a profound love for the spoken word; writing, song and poetry, with the land being muse for her creations.

Her journey has been a period of intense of initiation marked by loss and these thresholds have been monumental catalysts for her work with the energy of grief, her growth at a soul level and her intimate work with the thresholds of life and death. Her spiritual progression has been supported through an ever deepening relationship with the plants, both native and non native. She holds immense gratitude to the Mother in all her expressions and serves her devoutly in every aspect of her work in the world.
