Sacred Thresholds

Honoring our life transitions through Rites of Passage Ceremonies

As woman we move through various rites of passage at different stages in our lives. Each right of passage is a sacred threshold that marks the beginning of one phase of our lives while simultaneously closing another. It is in these moments we are required to hold the paradox; of both the birthing and the dying.

In Western Societies, the rights of passage within the Feminine are not honored. They have been forgotten at best, and shunned at worst and this creates a rupture between what we experience in our physical, emotional and psychic reality, with what we experience culturally within our families and community at large.

"I loved the sharing and the depth of the nature of the mother, maiden and the crone. I've been touched, moved and inspired by this work"

There is a forgotten wisdom in honoring these moments, each transition offers us sacred insight into what it takes to be fully alive as a woman in these modern times. A rite of passage ceremony can be a lovely way to celebrate your transitions, to witness, honor, laugh, and grieve all that has been and all that has not come to pass; from Menses to Maiden, Birth, Postpartum, Mother, Midlife, Enchantress and Crone. Each rite, an awakening, a calling home!
